Q. Are the FRS playback images flat & 2D?
A. The aircraft flight path images generated by the post-flight reconstruction software are three-dimensional and can be viewed from any perspective during playback. Cockpit views include a typical instrument panel display in digital form.

Q. How many aircraft may be simultaneously displayed?
A. Up to thirty-two aircraft may be viewed during playback.

Q. How long can my recording be?
A. Depends on the capacity of the recorder. Memory for 8000 flight-hours available.

Q. Will it work with my airplane?
A. Yes. The system has been tested in light aircraft and military aircraft successfully. Data files for your aircraft are pre-installed into the FRS software.

Q. Is the system difficult to install?
A. No. The system is non-intrusive to the aircraft.

Q. How long does it take to reconstruct a 1-hour flight?
A. A 1-hour flight takes approximately 40 secs to reconstruct on a 1.5 GHz computer. Reconstruction speed is proportional to the computer speed.
