Introduction

The UHL Flight Reconstruction System (FRS) provides the aircraft industry's first low-cost approach to providing immediate post-flight reconstruction of flight dynamics using a single GPS recorder.

In addition to standard GPS outputs of position, heading and ground speed, the UHL-FRS provides information such as indicated airspeed, body yaw-pitch-roll, G-loading, angle of attack and rate of climb. When combined together highly accurate flight reconstructions are possible.

UHL's sophisticated Post-Flight-Processing(PFP) software provides the user with a realistic image of his aircraft in flight. The 3D-display software includes an external view of the aircraft from any perspective and an out-the-cockpit view with aircraft (instrument panel) data display all presented on your personal computer. Multiple users may combine data from up to 32 aircraft for exciting reconstructions such as formation flying.

With extensive flight testing in military and light aircraft, the UHL-FRS has proven itself accurate in harsh maneuvers.

Applications include pilot training, flight monitoring-FOQA, flight testing, aircraft racing and post-accident analysis.

The UHL Flight Reconstruction System features patent-pending software from UHL Research Associates, Inc. UHL Research, Inc. has over 20 years experience in Modeling, Simulation and Operations Analysis.
